Xiaomi’s spin-off brand, Poco has today launched Poco C3 in India. The new handset is a budget model that looks similar to Redmi 9C and justifies the price tag it carries. It has HD+ display, triple rear cameras, two storage variants and a massive battery. Here’s everything about it;

Poco C3 Specifications

The all-new Poco C3 has a 6.53″ HD+ (720 × 1600p) LCD with a waterdrop notch and 20:9 aspect ratio. It’s protected by Panda Glass protection and has 400 nits of peak brightness. It comes in two storage variants as either 3GB + 32GB or 4GB + 64GB configurations. On the software part, it runs on Android 10 based MIUI 12

Under the hood, it has the MediaTek’s Helio G35 SoC, which is an octa-core processor having all Cortex A-53 cores, four clocking at 2.3GHz and others at 1.8GHz speeds. With a PowerVR GE8320 GPU it adequately powerful to do the basic jobs on the phone.

Regarding cameras, it has a triple rear setup as a 13-megapixel (f/2.2) lens as the primary sensor and a pair of 2-megapixel (f/2.4) lens as macro and depth sensors. Upfront, there’s a 5-megapixel (f/2.2) lens for selfies. While it misses the fingerprint sensor, it has other required connectivities like Bluetooth, WiFi, GPS, LTE, Micro USB port and an audio jack.

Finally, it’s powered by a massive 5000mAh battery with 10W fast charging support and is P2i-rated for splash-resistance.

Poco C3 Price and Availability


The Poco C3 comes in three color variants as Matte Black, Arctic Blue and Lime Green, and is priced at Rs 7,499 (~$102) for the base 3GB + 32GB variant and Rs.8,999 (~$123) for the 4GB + 64GB variant. It’s set to go on sale via Flipkart starting October 16 in India.
